Payment

Payment in full is required at the time of your consultation.
We accept payment by cash, EFTPOS, credit card, or bank transfer (payment required prior to session in this case).

Cancellations

Should you be unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please provide a minimum of 48 hours notice so we are able to provide the appointment to another client. Late cancellations may incur a late cancellation fee.

Medicare rebates

You may be eligible for rebates for your sessions, depending on your diagnosis and the opinion of your GP and/or Psychiatrist. If you are eligible, you will require a referral from the GP or Psychiatrist prior to your initial appointment. This referral and Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) will enable you to access Medicare rebates for up to 20 sessions per calendar year. ($88.25 per session) Your GP or Psychiatrist are able to provide more information and discuss your eligibility for this rebate.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on your insurance provider and level of cover, you may be eligible to claim a rebate through your health insurance provider. Please check your eligibility before attending your first appointment. If you have used the maximum number of Medicare eligible sessions per year (10), you may then consider a private health insurance rebate depending on your level of cover. Please advise us at the time of booking your appointment that you intend to claim a rebate from your private health fund.

We have a HICAPS machine that is able to process private health fund rebates on the spot for selected funds.

Please note – Medicare does not allow you to claim through Medicare and your private health fund for the same session.
